studio-sustain urla-barbaros is the first of a series of design studio courses in bilgi university, department of industrial design focusing on the broad topic of sustainability in relation to design practice. each studio-sustain is planned as a design-camp tackling with issues of sustainable design in a different location. in autumn 2017, studio-sustain design-camp was based in west urla region, taking barbaros village as its micro center and urla region as the macro one.
